The installer adds DBD Reshade to the Start menu with an uninstaller; the portable version is a single file. If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, choose More info and then Run anyway. Only download DBD Reshade from this site or the GitHub releases page.

Close the game, click Install preset again and start the game. Press Home: if the ReShade menu opens, the preset is active. If not, use Report a bug in the app and send us the log on Discord.
Run the official installer from reshade.me, select Dead by Daylight and choose Uninstall. Uninstalling DBD Reshade doesn't change the game.
